My First Blog Post

This is my first blog post EVER! Hopefully when you read this I will have written many more posts and this whole plan will be a great success.

I created this site mostly for myself, to keep a digital history of things I've done and things I'm proud of. Instead of making projects that never leave my Github, I want to write code with an eye on production and try to finish projects at least to the point they are presentable/interesting for others online.

I want this site to be a digital version of myself as I see myself.

In the blog I will write about things I learn in marketing and technology and my opinions on the industries. But I will also write personal stories, from my adventures building garden boxes and sheds for my mom to the deeply personal thoughts I have on growing up and my career, etc.

I've always found the personal sites of famous people to be interesting. Usually they are buried and hard to find, but they capture a personal note of how the person viewed themselves and the things they thought were important often before the fame. Most people don't ever read the blogs on a personal site. Recruiters often look for the projects or work history, and no one else ever even sees the site. I want this site to contain the truth about me, hidden in plain sight for those who look.
